Summary : For Nat and his new friends, Grace and Izzie Zorn, twin sisters as seductive as they are elusive, it was the perfect plan for some quick cash. A bold scheme with an admirable motive: to save the bright future of a deserving young man. And the victim, too, was deserving--an arrogant billionaire who would hardly notice a financial loss. All the plotters needed was a believable story, desperate and frightening, but false. Nothing bad was supposed to happen. They were only crying wolf. But what if the wolf were real? For someone in the shadows is listening, someone who thinks he deserves an even brighter future. Now a risky but basically innocent game will take a horrifying turn. . . .

Summary : The path to freedom wasn't supposed to include falling in love. Identical twins Ali and Amir are in serious trouble. They’ve been imprisoned, accused of a crime that only one of them committed. As they await trial, they must learn to survive as inmates in a prison filled with sadistic guards—and werewolves. Good thing they’re werewolves too. Ali has no idea how to survive in this brutal world. It’s almost a relief when the cellblock alpha, Morgan, takes a liking to him and helps him adapt to prison life. Ali can’t resist the frightening, wild, and beautiful man, but too soon he learns that Morgan’s protection comes with a price. Amir’s struggled to cope since their mother’s death, letting Ali take care of the family. But now he’s terrified for his kind, sensitive brother trapped in the other cellblock with the prison’s notorious “alpha.” And for his teenage sister, trying to survive on her own. He finds a confidant in Ben—a transfer from another prison—who’s everything he isn’t: calm, careful, and charismatic. The pair grow closer, but Ben has a past, and Amir can’t risk sharing his own while freedom hangs in the balance. Afraid and alone, both brothers struggle to survive while the clock ticks on towards their trial. And overhead, the moon grows ever larger.

Summary : An action-packed adventure set in 1930s Africa from global bestseller Wilbur Smith “They recognised in each other that same restlessness that was always driving them on to new adventure, never staying long enough in one place or at one job to grow roots, unfettered by offspring or possessions, by spouse or responsibilities, taking up each new adventure eagerly and discarding it again with our qualms or regrets. Always moving onwards — never looking backwards.” The wartime race to save a country… When Jake Barton, American engineer, teams up with English gentleman and hustler Gareth Swales to sell five battered old Bentleys in 1930s East Africa, neither of them could have imagined that they’d soon be attempting to smuggle the vehicles into Ethiopia to support the war effort, in return for a huge reward. But to do this, they’ll have to manoeuvre past several extremely hostile European forces, as well as managing their feelings for Vicky Camberwell, the beautiful journalist who has been sent with them to report on the brutal violence of the Italian invasion of Ethiopia. The three adventurers are about to discover that some battles are more than they can handle…

Summary : A twelve-year-old girl struggles to understand her mother’s sudden and unexplained disappearance, only to have her heart broken when her mother returns as a cold, indifferent shell of the woman she once was. This begins a journey of grief, depression, abuse, and physical illness for the girl, who tells her life story through the narration of Crying on the Inside. The young girl grows up to be a woman who is a victim of her own mind, believing she’s a Superwoman who can complete any task to perfection. But she becomes a target for a con artist who marries her only to use her. The psychological and verbal abuse soon become physical, and the Superwoman realizes that she never recognized the warning signs of an abusive partner. White Wolf Woman wants her readers, particularly women, to be spared the pain of abuse by alerting them to the signs they need to heed to avoid the men who will prey on them. This riveting novel, the first of a trilogy, clearly illustrates how a high-achieving, successful woman can become the victim of the most heinous abuse, yet still rise above it.

Summary : Many churches have found themselves on the brink of a great breakthrough for God only to have everything torn apart and victory snatched away. Doubts and questions may plague church leaders' minds concerning what happened to their church. The answer may be that the church has been ravaged by a wolf. Just what is a wolf in the church? How can a wolf in sheep's clothing be identified? How is a leader to deal with a wolf? Tackling these questions in a straightforward manner, When Do I Cry Wolf? is a book designed to uncover the deception and work of the enemy within the church. It gives valuable tools and insights for dealing with this problem without creating an air of paranoia and confusion. Sound scriptural advice and encouragement give much needed answers that will aid those called to guard God's "sheep." Steven began his service to the Lord by being faithful in his local church. He became leader of a successful youth group, served a term as deacon, and lead the singing for the local church. Throughout his years of ministry, he once sang front music for J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet in Denver, CO. He has appeared with Warren Black for the 700 Club and has also made a live appearance on TBN in Santa Ana, CA with Dwight Thompson. But most of his ministry has been spent traveling to minister in local churches. Steven's experience dealing with troubled churches over the years has given him a wealth of wisdom. Recently God has called him to compile some of this wisdom into a book. When Do I Cry Wolf? is a valuable tool in identifying and uncovering the deceptive work of the enemy within the church.

Summary : Playing tricks can get people into trouble quickly—especially if they lie, such as in the story of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” In “The Donkey in the Lion’s Skin,” it’s clear that no matter what you wear on the outside, if you’re foolish, it will still show when you speak. Through these fables and many others, readers will be introduced to life lessons in an accessible way. Full-color illustrations of each fable add a bit of fun and fancy to some stories’ more serious morals.

Summary : In the past few years, an increasing number of colleges and universities have added courses in biomedical ethics to their curricula. To some extent, these additions serve to satisfy student demands for "relevance. " But it is also true that such changes reflect a deepening desire on the part of the academic community to deal effectively with a host of problems which must be solved if we are to have a health-care delivery system which is efficient, humane, and just. To a large degree, these problems are the unique result of both rapidly changing moral values and dramatic advances in biomedical technology. The past decade has witnessed sudden and conspicuous controversy over the morality and legality of new practices relating to abortion, therapy for the mentally ill, experimentation using human subjects, forms of genetic interven tion, and euthanasia. Malpractice suits abound, and astronomical fees for malpractice insurance threaten the very possibility of medical and health-care practice. Without the backing of a clear moral consensus, the law is frequently forced into resolving these conflicts only to see the moral issues involved still hotly debated and the validity of the existing law further questioned. Take abortion, for example. Rather than settling the legal issue, the Supreme Court's original abortion decision in Roe v. Wade (1973), seems only to have spurred further legal debate. And of course, whether or not abortion is a mo rally ac ceptable procedure is still the subject of heated dispute.
